It is a process used for removal of adouriferous impurities by heating the oil under high vacuum using sparging steam. The adouriferous matter with low boiling component get distilled under this condition and odour-free oil is obtained. There is another sequence for producing refined bleached deodorisation oil, free from impurities and with appealing appearance. In this method pre-deodorisation is done by means of steam distillation. This process is called physical refining. The oil produced either by chemical refining or physical refining is called as refined, bleached, deodorised oil and is ready for the market.
